Female Lawyers in politics : A support group for Asiwaju and Gov Sanwoolu condemns the murder of Mrs. Bolanle Raheem

0

We received with rude shock the demise of our dear colleague Mrs. Bolanle Raheem, by a non challant and trigger happy police officer attached to Ajiwe police station Ajah who was to protect and secure the lives of the citizen, on a Christmas day!

We hereby join our voices with that of the NBA, and other relevant bodies to demand justice for our dear colleague, and ensure a diligent prosecution of the errant police officer. it is disheartening to know that such distard act is happening for the second time in one month from the same police station inspite of the unrelenting efforts and actions of the police Commissioner to combat crime and ensure safety in the state .

We urge every Lagos residents and the bereaved to remain calm while assuring them of the full support of the NBA and Governor Sanwo Olu in ensuring the perpetrator is brought to book, Noting that Security and Access to Justice are major area of interest of Mr Sanwo Olu.

We extend our heart felt condolences to the immediate family, and the entire body of lawyers in Nigeria.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Signed Yeye Abimbola Badia Jack Oladugba. Esq. FICMC
President.
