NLC denies plot to scuttle Tinubu’s inauguration

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has described as cheap blackmail allegations that her leadership, led by Joe Ajaero, is planning to scuttle the inauguration of President elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

A statement signed by the Head of Information and Public affairs , Comrade Benson Upah, the Congress said NLC is a pan- Nigerian organisation that is not ruled by premodial sentiment.

The statement further said the Congress only invited Peter Obi , the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP)to the 2023 May Day commomerarion, and that wouldn’t translate to  planning to disrupt the inauguration come May 29.
