NBA President, Olumide Akpata Undertakes Working Visit to Kaduna State
As part of his efforts aimed at fulfilling his promise to deepen the Nigerian Bar Association’s engagement with the rank and file of its membership, as well as with other stakeholders in the justice administration sector of the Nigerian polity, NBA President Olumide Akpata recently paid a one-day working visit to Kaduna State.

During his tour, Akpata held an interactive session with members of the NBA’s branches in the state, where a wide range of issues affecting the Bar in particular, and the legal profession in general, were discussed.
The NBA President also paid a number of courtesy visits, notably on the Attorney General, the Chief Judge and the other heads of courts in the state, as well as the state’s Governor, His Excellency, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
The meeting with Gov. El-Rufai provided Mr. Akpata with an opportunity to advocate for the improved welfare of counsels in the Kaduna State Ministry of Justice, as well as magistrates in the state judiciary, whose allowances were recently slashed by the state government.
