OBITUARY
This is to announce the passing into glory of Mrs. Patricia Kehinde Akpata (nee Ologbosere) on Saturday, February 11, 2023 in Lagos after a brief illness. The late Mrs Akpata was the widow of the late Hon. Justice Ephraim Omorose Ibukun Akpata, Justice of the Supreme Court and the first Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission.
Late Mrs Akpata was an entrepreneur, and avid golfer attaining a single handicap status. She was a devout Christian who positively impacted the lives of many who came her way.
A devoted and doting mother, she is survived by her children; Eghe & Funmi Akpata, Uyi & Obosa Akpata, Efe & George Etomi, Ewi & Ozzie Akpata, Oghogho & Omomo Akpata, Esohe & Ken Osebor and Ito & Rume Onojeghuo, and 21 grand children.
Mrs. Akpata, will be buried in Benin alongside her late husband in April 2023. Further details will be announced by the family.
