Nigerian singer/activist, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy has called on Obidients across the nation to equip themselves with necessary items like recording materials before leaving for polling units to cast their votes for the gubernatorial elections today.
Oputa who earlier said he would be in Lagos to monitor the exercise for Labour Party candidates despite the threats from oppositions, said Obidients should move in groups to avoid attacks.
According to him, no voter should exit the polling units until their votes are counted, urging the electorates to make videos of the proceedings.
In a tweet on Saturday morning, the famous entertainer said, “The Day of reckoning is here. Prepare well before you leave the house. Go in large groups. Carry some snacks and be ready to record all the doings in your polling unit.
“Stay till votes are counted and uploaded. Make videos of the proceedings. Vote LP (papa, mama and pikin)”.
