The eminent legal luminary, Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, SAN, was the cynosure of all eyes at the June Monthly Meeting of the Lagos Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
NEWSWIRE Law & Events Magazine’s correspondent in Lagos reports that the event, which featured an intensive knowledge-sharing session, was followed by a well-attended cocktail party hosted in honour of Maikyau by two eminent leaders of the Bar – Paul Usoro, SAN (a former President of the NBA) and Dr. Babatunde Ajibade, SAN.
Among the many highlights of the day was the cutting of the June cake, which was coordinated and supervised by Maikyau, as members of the Premier Bar branch and their guests settled down to an evening of wining, dining and fraternising with the special guest.
