UTME fraud: If we reveal all we know, people’ll be shocked — JAMB Registrar

Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s Registrar, stated on Tuesday that, “Nigerians would be shocked if the board decided to disclose the specifics of the “forgery” committed by Mmesoma Ejikeme, the candidate from Anambra State who the board accused of manually inflating her UTME score.”

Oloyede pointed out that Ejikeme’s results served as a model for students who took the UTME two years ago.

The former vice chancellor of the University of Ilorin stated in an interview with Premium Times that, “the candidate’s result will show if you scan the code. Therefore, I can state unequivocally that the girl is flaunting a phony result.

Either she is being deceived or she is a part of a syndicate that fabricates fake JAMB results.”

“Security features on our findings allow me to emphasize that the girl is only attempting to mislead the audience. Her conclusion is wholly false. She is lying and completely mistaken when she says that she printed the result from our website.””People would be surprised if we were to tell everything. This is what would occur if people tried to accomplish their goals more quickly.”

The issue, according to JAMB, “has nothing to do with its system, which it claimed was not compromised and that the outcome was not caused by it.”

Source stated.”We can track everything printed from our system, thus the result she is holding is entirely phony,” the message stated. On Sunday night, “the board accused Mmesoma of falsifying her 2021 UTME results. Since then, she has refuted the accusations made against her by the JAMB exam authority.

However, “JAMB insisted that she manipulated the results and sentenced her to a three-year ban.”
