A violent altercation between two teenagers over a girlfriend has led to the death of one in Baburasa Village, Niger State.
According to a post by security analyst Zagazola Makama on Thursday, the dispute involved 15-year-old Ragai Dike and 14-year-old Kefas Monday, who engaged in a heated argument.
The situation escalated when 25-year-old Sunday Baba, a friend of Kefas, intervened and fatally stabbed Ragai Dike in the chest.
Eyewitnesses rushed the victim to the General Hospital in New-Bussa for urgent medical attention, but he was pronounced dead on arrival. His body was later deposited at the hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Security operatives have since arrested the suspects, and investigations are ongoing.
