The 2nd Vice-President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mrs. Bolatumi Animashaun has sent New Year’s greetings to her professional colleagues – beginning from Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) and other senior lawyers, as well as wigs at every level of post-call experience.
She especially commended the role played by the various Vice-Chairmen of NBA Branches across the country in the success of the 2024 edition of the 16 days of Activism and Human Rights Day, which took place last December.
Mrs. Animashaun praised the Chairmen of the Branches for the support they gave to their VCs as they carried out their duties in respect of the annual observation.
The synergy demonstrated by all stakeholders, she said in the statement, foretells a more robust engagement at the Branch level of the NBA in coming days, which would enhance their relevance to their communities in the quest to uphold the rule of law in our society.
The NBA 2nd VP also extended her appreciation to the President of the Association, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN for his leadership and his encouragement to all national officers, which has enhanced their abilities to fulfill their electoral promises.
She promised more positive initiatives and outcomes on the part of the Osigwe-led national executive in the new year, while also soliciting the support of all members of the NBA, as the organisation positions itself for greater success in 2025.
