A 58-year-old school principal, Bashir Musa, has been arrested by police in Katsina State for the suspected theft of several school items, including computer monitors and solar panels.
Musa was apprehended last Monday in Dutsi Local Government Area after the local police station received information about vandalism, breaking, and theft at the school laboratory.
Police investigations revealed that several items recovered from the principal’s residence were suspected to have been taken from the school laboratory.
Items recovered include four solar panels, one solar battery, five computer monitors, three Central Processing Units (CPUs), one printing machine, and two clippers.
