The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested three people for vandalising and stealing a large quantity of electrical cables in Bororo Village, Michika Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
In a statement issued on Sunday by the Command’s spokesman, CSP Suleiman Nguroje stated, “our surveillance team attached to Minchika Divisional Policeman headquarters, while on the area patrol intercepted and arrested the suspects.”
According to the statement, the suspects are: Emmanuel John, 34 years; Habila Kwaji, 21 years; and Mohammed Garba, 28 years.
“During preliminary investigations, the three suspects confessed to the crime and are currently in police custody for further investigation and more recovery.”
The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, who warned against acts of vandalising public infrastructure, urged members of the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities around them to the nearest police station.
