Today, the 7th day of March, 2022, the Ikorodu branch of the NBA held its monthly meeting for the month of March. Mr Ede Asenoguan and other distinguished members of the bar were in attendance at the meeting. Upon the successful conduct of the said meeting, Mr Ede sent a goodwill message to the bar, lauding the cooperative spirit with which the bar is run.
His words are reproduced below:
“The Chairman, Executive and branch members of the Ikorodu bar,
It is with great delight that I convey my regards to your noble and astute bar. Being in your midst today at your monthly meeting for the month of March, afforded me the opportunity to experience first-hand the tales of cooperation and astuteness I have always heard about your bar. This was very evident in the cordial discussions and cross-pollination of ideas which characterized the meeting from start to finish.
Furthermore, your cordiality does not just revolve around your members, same is effortlessly extended to visitors and today was not an exception as you accorded me and my colleagues very warm reception. I extend my gratitude to you in this regard.
It is my sincere prayer that your bar continues in its developmental and progressive strides with a view to further advancing the course of our dear profession. I look forward to communing with you in the near future.
