Lent is the season and a time set aside each year to remember the love of God that is poured out through Christ Jesus on the cross in His death; and His defeat of death.
The season offers us a providential opportunity to deepen the meaning and value of our Christian lives, and it stimulates us to rediscover the mercy of God so that we, in turn, become more merciful toward our brothers and sisters.
This is the time to teach perseverance. We must keep the course regardless of the storm…regardless of the criticism…regardless of the heat.
I pray the Lord hold our hands and guide us to happiness and peace this Lenten season
