In a statement yesterday, the Obamas said: “For weeks now, people across the country have been rightly outraged by the spectacle of masked ICE recruits and other federal agents acting with impunity and engaging in tactics that seem designed to intimidate, harass, provoke and endanger the residents of a major American city.”
They add: the Trump administration “seem eager to escalate the situation” and have tried to explain the shootings of Pretti and Renee Good without “any serious investigation – and that appear to be directly contradicted by video evidence. This has to stop.”
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump, for the umpteenth time, declared his administration’s unflinching support for the ICE occupation of Minnesota, describing the recurring protests against ICE as subterfuge to cover up crimes in the state.
Reacting to the killing of an American citizen, Alex Jeffrey Pretti, at the weekend in Minnesota by the ICE operative on his Truth Social handle, he noted a top-notch conspiracy by some politicians and state agents to prevent ICE from carrying out its duty.
He wrote: “Let our ICE Patriots do their jobs! 12,000 Illegal Alien Criminals, many of them violent, have been arrested and taken out of Minnesota. If they were still there, you would see something far worse than you are witnessing today!”
Late Pretti, a 37-year old Minneapolis resident and intensive-care nurse, was killed by Border Patrol agents on Saturday, tagging him as a domestic terrorist and accused of attempt to massacre law enforcement.
There have been series of outrage against his killing and many more since the ICE occupation of Minnesota. The Minneapolis Police Chief declared Pretti of having no criminal record. Federal officials alleged that he was armed.
Leading a protest against the Federal agents, lawyers in Minnesota, Minneapolis and St. Paul had jointly reinvigorated their appeal to a Federal Judge to halt the surge in immigration enforcement in a hearing scheduled for today (Monday) in the state.
“This violence has to stop and the President must remove these armed, Federal forces from Minneapolis and other American cities,” Mayor Karen Bass of Los Angeles said in the amicus brief in a Federal lawsuit to stop Trump’s deployment.
Meanwhile there have been pockets of protests by the people of Minnesota, accusing Trump and his ICE operatives of high-handedness, unlawful arrests, harassment, brazen violations of citizen’s rights and cold-blooded killings.
But President Trump, displaying a loaded gun on his Truth Page, said: “This is the gunman’s gun, loaded (with two additional full magazines!), and ready to go – What is that all about? Where are the local Police?
“Why weren’t they allowed to protect ICE Officers?
The Mayor and the Governor called them off? It is stated that many of these Police were not allowed to do their job, that ICE had to protect themselves — Not an easy thing to do!”
He made reference to the high conspiracy between politicians and some illegal immigrants stealing the taxpayers’ money, saying “Why does Ilhan Omar have $34 Million Dollars in her account? And where are the Tens of Billions of Dollars that have been stolen from the once Great State of Minnesota?
“We are there because of massive monetary fraud, with billions of Dollars missing, and illegal criminals that were allowed to infiltrate the state through the Democrats’ Open Border Policy.
“We want the money back, and we want it back, now. Those fraudsters who stole the money are going to jail, where they belong! This is no different than a really big bank robbery. Much of what you’re witnessing is a cover up for this theft and fraud.”
Trump, without mincing words, added that “The Mayor and the Governor are inciting Insurrection, with their pompous, dangerous, and arrogant rhetoric. Instead, these sanctimonious political fools should be looking for the billions of Dollars that has been stolen from the people of Minnesota, and the United States of America.”
He accused other states controlled by Democratic Party of such crime, saying ” It is actually possible that the total amount of money stolen, over the years, by corrupt politicians and fraudsters, from Minnesota, will exceed $100 billion dollars.
“In any event, whether it is our isn’t, the theft, incompetence, and fraud is massive! Sadly, whatever numbers we find, California, and other Democrat run states, will be worse.”
