The Nigerian Ports Authority has lauded the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, for repositioning the sector as he marked his 71st birthday.
The Executive Director, Marine and Operations of the NPA, Olalekan Badmus, stated on Sunday that Oyetola is a “visionary leader whose humility and commitment to national service continue to inspire many.”
Badmus commended the minister for his “dedication to repositioning the marine and blue economy for sustainable growth”, adding that Oyetola’s “passion for excellence and inclusive development is evident in his leadership style”.
“As my leader and mentor, I join countless admirers across the country in celebrating you today. May the Almighty continue to grant you sound health, divine wisdom, and greater strength as you steer the ship of the ministry and contribute to the progress of our dear nation,” he said.
He also expressed confidence in Oyetola’s political leadership, wishing him victory in the 2026 Osun State governorship election.
