The 63-year-old who graced some of Nigeria’s Nollywood movies for so many years died on Monday afternoon after a long battle with illness.
Babasuwe death was confirmed by the President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Producers Association of Nigeria, Bolaji Amusan (Mr. Latin) saying that he just got off the phone with the deceased son, Adesola Omidina.
The deceased who was born in Lagos attended primary education at Jamaitul Islamial Primary School in Lagos and Children Boarding School in Oshogbo before obtaining his West African School Certificate Examination at Ifeoluwa Grammar School, Oshogbo.
Some of the movies baba suwe starred in are Baba Londoner, Elebolo, Oju oloju, Baba Jaiye Jaiye among others.
The veteran is survived by his children, Junior Omidina, Okiki Omidina and Halimat Omidina.
The Nollywood Family has lost a gem.
