The National Examinations Council has disowned a fraudulent Facebook account created in the name of its Registrar and Chief Executive, Professor Dantani Wushishi, which is being used to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
This was disclosed in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja on Sunday by the Council’s Acting Director of Information and Public Relations, Mr Azeez Sani.
“The Council wishes to alert the public to the existence of this fake Facebook account to prevent individuals from falling victim to these fraudsters,” he said.
Meanwhile, Mr Sani confirmed that security agencies have been notified and appropriate action will be taken against those responsible for this fraudulent activity.
