Recall that as a result of the surge in cases of maltreatment of legal practitioners by security operatives whilst discharging official duties and obligations to clients, the leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) had set up the NBA – Securities Agencies Relations Committee (NBA-SARC) to work in liaison with all security agencies across the country to forestall the ugly trend.
In line with the above-mentioned objective, the NBA-SARC will be organizing a Hybrid Townhall Meeting on the 5th day of April 2022 by Noon at the NBA Secretariat, Abuja. The theme of the Town Hall meeting is “Lawyers, Security Agencies and the Rule of Law”.
