The ongoing Premier Bar League organised by the NBA Lagos Branch has entered the knockout phase. The games will kick off on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 2pm. Venue is RiverBank School, Chief Abiodun Yesufu Oniru Road, VI, Lagos.
For the past six weeks, the competition has provided spectators with great enjoyment and football frenzy. 12 male teams competed at the group stage for the male category, while 4 female teams participated in the first round of the female category.
After the opening phase, Grey FC, despite losing their first match, topped Group A with 4wins. CLG All Stars FC maintained a perfect record at the opening stage, winning all their matches.
The fixtures for the quarter finals for the male competition are:
Match 1 – Grey FC v. Gavalex FC
Match 2 – Falana & Falana v. Nexus FC
Match 3 – CLG All Stars FC v. Shield United FC
Match 4 – TASAFRICA v. Unilawrin Alumni
The female competition enters the second phase. After the first round, Eko Strikers FC top the group with 2 wins and 1 draw, while Tigress FC is second, All Stars FC in third place, and FC Phoenix occupying the fourth place.
The fixtures for the female team are:
Match 1 – Tigress FC v. All Stars FC
Match 2 – FC Phoenix v. Eko Strikers
The venue remains RiverBank School, Chief Abiodun Yesufu Oniru Road, VI.
