My Manifesto for the post of Social Secretary of NBA Lagos Branch is not negotiable.

My name is Egeonu Gloria, I was called to bar in 2008, I’m the Principal Partner, Egeonu & Co., I’m running for the post of Social Secretary for the Premier Branch, I’m presently a member of the Premier Branch, Surulere Lawyer’s Forum, Igbo Lawyer’s Forum and also a member of Section on Business Law. I’m passionate about service, entertainment, and hospitality. I will like to congratulate the outgoing administration for their service, transparency and dedication in raising the premier bar.

My Mission and Vision to accomplish if elected are: 1. Rebranding of the premier branch ways of organising of events, 2. Transforming of the premier branch social life, 3. Harmonization of an all- inclusive premier bar.

  1. Rebranding of the Premier Branch
    In conjunction with the new administration, I will remodel, the premier branch monthly meeting and all other events in terms of hospitality logistics, entertainment and refreshment of the premier branch, creating a conducive and relaxed lawyers robing room which can be served as a relaxation centre for lawyers after court sessions. Working in conjunction with the incoming administration for a conducive venue for our monthly meetings, providing varieties of refreshment that will accommodate individual nutritional needs . I will ensure we have proper sitting arrangement with a good public address system that will be efficient, I will create a team of young and old colleagues who will be at the entrance of every event before the scheduled time of the meeting and 30mins after the meeting had commence to welcome colleagues and appreciate them for coming early and with gifts from sponsors. Our hospitality will be next to nothing.
  1. Transformation of the Premier Branch Social Life
    I will work in partnership with the incoming administration if elected as the social secretary of the branch to create social activities that will give all members of the branch a means to relax, socialise and establish friendly relationships among ourselves and raising the future of our bar. as lawyers we work practically the entire day. I will organise picnics at least twice a year, I will introduce football competition, aerobics, and fitness centres that will work in conjunction with the Lagos branch for a discounted rate.
  2. Harmonization of an All-inclusive Premier Bar
    In conjunction with the new administration if elected as the social secretary I will ensure that we establish an all-inclusive and teamwork bar to encourage members to attend all bar events both the young and old lawyers, will make recommendations and suggestion to whatever social events, I will extend my hand of stewardship, passionate service and love to our colleagues who are physically challenged to provide mobility that will bring them to all events and take them back to their destination. We will also provide such service to some of our aged colleagues who required same.
