Ms. Ngozi Victor, a long-standing and active member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos Branch, has formally declared her intention to contest for the position of Assistant Secretary in the upcoming branch elections.
Having picked up her nomination form ahead of the submission deadline, Ms. Victor submitted the form on 9th April 2025, along with all the supporting documentation required by the Electoral Committee. With this step completed, she now awaits the Committee’s formal confirmation of her eligibility to contest.
Over the past few years, Ms. Victor has contributed in several ways to the activities of the branch, participating in committees, and actively supporting various branch activities. She believes the time is right to take on a more structured role within the branch to contribute more to the Branch. She views the office of Assistant Secretary as an opportunity to enhance administrative efficiency, strengthen internal communication, and support the coordinated execution of the branch’s plans.
Her aim is to provide effective support to the branch secretary, maintain accurate records, ensure that members remain well-informed, and contribute to the smooth running of branch affairs.
Ms. Victor looks forward to engaging more broadly with members of the branch in the coming weeks.
Once she receives confirmation from the Electoral Committee, she will formally share her proposed plans for the role.
