NBA Lagos Branch Annual Law Week to Commence May 30
All is set for the commencement of the 2020 Annual Law Week of the Lagos Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association under the leadership of Mr. Omoyemi Akangbe, the branch chairman. The much anticipated event will hold from May 30th to June 5th, 2020 at the exclusive Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. The theme for this year’s Law Week is ‘Fast Forward – Succeeding At A Globally Competitive Bar’.
The driving forces for this year’s law week are the learned Senior Advocate, Olasupo Shasore, SAN is the Chairman of the 2020 Law Week Committee, and would be Co-chaired by Mrs. Folashade Alli, FCIArb, C.Arb. The Planning Committee has outlined a rich and diverse cast of A-list speakers for this year’s event with a series of burning topics lined up for the Plenary Sessions.
Among the highlights of the event is the classy Opening Ceremony which in previous year’s has been graced by the cream of the Nigerian bar and bench.
Other activities also include SME Fair and Law Clinic to replace the prison visits; Elders’ Night, and the Closing Party which will bring down the curtain of the 2020 Law Week.
Registration for this year’s Law Week will commence as soon as possible. Multiple registration channels would also be provided by the Law Week Committee towards a seamless and hassle-free registration experience for participants.
