In a public notice shared on its Instagram handle, the company assured viewers that the housemates were safe while technical experts worked to restore normal service.

“We’re currently experiencing a temporary break in Big Brother Naija transmission due to a power issue.

“Rest assured, the housemates are safe and sound.

“Our technical team is working swiftly to restore power and normal service. Thank you for your patience,” the statement read.

The organisers added a light-hearted message, urging fans to “grab a snack, stretch your legs,” promising that “premium entertainment” would resume shortly.

The ongoing season marks the 10th edition of the highly popular reality TV show.

The 10th edition commenced on Saturday, July 26.

The housemates are vying for the grand prize of N150 million.
