It has been brought to my attention that you are currently holding your 2022 Annual Law Week which commenced on the 11th of May and will end on the 17th of May, 2022 on the theme: “Nation building: Our collective responsibility”.
Nation building is indeed our collective responsibility and we, the people must stand up to build the Nigeria we want. Nigeria should be the product of our collective effort and not just for our leaders. I am therefore exceedingly glad that you chose this theme to educate your members and the public in general about this.
I have also observed that your law week contains programmes on the sensitization of citizens against domestic and gender based violence as well as on mental health issues. These are weighty issues bedevilling the people and it is gratifying that your branch, like the sons of Issachar has correctly interpreted the times to pinpoint what is relevant and to advocate on it.
