REPORT OF THE NORTHWEST TOWN HALL MEETING HELD IN KANO STATE, BAYERO UNIVERSITY
On Thursday, February 10th 2022, the President of the Law students association of Nigeria His Excellency Sen. Micheal Arinze arrived at kano, the capital city of kano for a town hall meeting alongside all other lawsanites from the Northwest zone.
Upon his arrival, he is duely welcomed by the Northwest Zonal Director, National financial secretary, Justice’s of the LAWSAN judiciary, chapter president, Chief Clerk of the 5th LAWSAN senate, Attorney general of the North, State Directors, Campus Directors as well as all other dignitaries.
The meeting has come about as a result of Mr. President desire to raise the bar and give all Lawsanites a hearing ear. It basically dwells on the advantage of been an active Lawsanite and participating in extra curricular activities. Mr. President warmly addressed Lawsanites on the impact that this administration brought among which is training in forensic evidence, Artificial intelligence, advantage of enrolling in Lawsan identification number, Judy law etc.
After a successful meeting with Lawsanites by His Excellency, Sen. Michael Arinze, the Northwest directorate alongside other dignitaries led the leadership of LAWSAN to the dean office Faculty of Law BUK, heartly met with BUK esteemed lecturers alongside professor Aminu Kabir and in his fatherly manner advise the leaders and ensure his utmost support to our dear association.
Indeed, it was the first time to host such a memorable event which has alot of educative aspect and also a moment of joy to the entire Lawsanites in the North West zone.
