The Kano State Government has closed 10 hotels in the city over new regulations that contravene government guidelines.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Tourism, Ibrahim Adam Bagwai, disclosed this in a statement.
He said the hotels that were closed include Sarina Suites, Horizon Hotel, Blue Spot Hotel, and seven other hotels.
According to the statement, the move is part of efforts to ensure that tourist attractions and hotels operate in a clean, safe, and legal manner.
The agency also pledged to continue monitoring all hotels and entertainment venues to ensure compliance with government guidelines and protect public safety.
