With profound joy, I felicitate with the NBA Lagos Branch as it holds the monthly meeting for February, on a special day designated to show Love and friendship – Saint Valentine’s Day.
The timing for this month’s meeting can not be more perfect, considering the importance of the concept of love to every sphere of our existence. The theme for the august occasion, “The Role of the Company Secretary: Facilitating Board Effectiveness & Performance”, could not have come at a more appropriate time than now, given the compelling need to improve corporate legal practice which remains a front-burner issue of concern to Lawyers across the globe.
