The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, has returned to Abuja after undergoing medical treatment for an undisclosed ailment in the United Kingdom.
A 10-second video released on Sunday by the Nigeria Television Authority on X showed Edun arriving at Fraser Suites in Abuja.
The caption read, “The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, sighted on Sunday looking hale and hearty.”
According to multiple reports, the minister, alongside his counterpart in the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, had a closed-door meeting with a Qatari delegation at the hotel on Sunday.
On Monday, October 13, Edun travelled to the United Kingdom to seek medical attention
The minister was spotted days later in London at an arts exhibition.
Edun left Abuja for Lagos on Monday night via a commercial flight.
He later departed for London aboard a British Airways flight on the same night.
