The Lagos State Branch of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA Nigeria) has reached another milestone with the successful conclusion of its Triennial General Meeting and Election held on December 6, 2024. This landmark event ushered in a new era of leadership, with Chief (Mrs.) Abimbola Jack-Oladugba emerging as the Chairperson.
The election and inauguration ceremonies were conducted under the distinguished guidance of the elite Electoral Committee, chaired by Mrs. Lizzy Akah. The seamless process was a testament to the committee’s dedication to transparency, integrity, and professionalism, reflecting the high standards of FIDA Nigeria.
The newly elected officers for the Lagos Branch are as follows:

Treasurer: S.M.A. Ogunmoroti
Financial Secretary: Nnenna Nwankobia

Welfare Secretary: Kemi Inyang
In her inspiring acceptance speech, Chief (Mrs.) Abimbola Jack-Oladugba expressed profound gratitude to the members for entrusting her with the responsibility of leading the branch. She reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to advancing FIDA’s mission of promoting and protecting the rights of women and children.
