Tuesday, 5th April, 2022 was a sad day for the NBA, particularly the Lawyers in Benue State when Amos Akaa Ahura, Esq., died in a fatal motor accident along the Akwanga-Abuja road on his way for an Appeal. Unfortunately, 15 other passengers lost their lives in the accident.
Mr Ede Asenoguan, has joined other Lawyers in condoling with the family of the deceased, Lawyers in Benue and the NBA. He wrote a tribute reproduced below.
“The chilly hands of death has again touched one of our own and has left coldness in our hearts. Our eyes are full of tears, our tongues with the bitter taste of morbid reality; we are pained by the loss of a promising gentleman.
We cannot however question the Creator as He knows it all. This is why we must in the midst of our sorrow, heaviness of heart and with tearful eyes find solace in the divine truth that Amos has found peace and rest.
My heart goes out to Amos’ family, friends, associate, Lawyers in Benue and the NBA.
I equally condole with the families of others who died in the unfortunate incident. May God rest the dead and heal our hearts.
Amen.”
Signed:
Ede Asenoguan,Esq
Past Chairman, NBA Benin Branch.
