As Muslims worldwide celebrate today, its my pleasure to felicitate with our Muslim Colleagues as they mark the end of the sacred month of Ramadan.
This is the time to reflect on the days of fasting and supplication to Allah. It is a time to recommit to values of gratitude, compassion and generosity. Above all, this celebration affords us that special opportunity to reunite, cheer and commune with family, friends and relatives.
While you savour the season with family and friends, I urge you to pray more fervently inorder to be saved from insecurity, bad governance, bad economy and disunity in the country.
Also, pray that the country will be fair to choose from areas that has not produced the president for lasting peace in the next general election.
Finally, may Allah bring you joy, happiness, peace and prosperity on this blessed occasion.
