It gives me a unique sense of joy and gratification to salute the Christian Lawyers Fellowship of Nigeria (CLASFON) on this auspicious occasion of her 40th anniversary. I also wish to express my very warm regards to all members of this august body as they gather in the commercial city of Onitsha, Anambra State, for their 2021 Conference beginning from the 4th of this month, and ending on the 8th of August.
I consider the Conference theme: “Behold, Here I Stand”, very timely, considering the fact that the Conference is set to feature a packed programme comprising of spiritual enrichment sessions, lectures and seminars designed to inspire attendees to live their best lives. I also wish to commend your focus on the family during this event, as eloquently demonstrated in your plans for a Spouses’ Session, Children and Teens Sessions, as well as leisure activities such as sports, picnics. networking and lots more.
Equally commendable is the formidable array of accomplished speakers and resource persons you have assembled for this anniversary celebrations and Conference from far and wide, and from various walks of life. It is indeed a testimony to the proud heritage you have upheld in the past four decades, and the reputation you have carved for your Fellowship over the years.
I am proud to be associated with this Fellowship on this wonderful occasion. I am confident that these celebrations are just a dress rehearsal for greater celebrations in the days to come. I wish the conferrees very fruitful deliberations during the Conference.
