Chief Emeka Ozoani, SAN was a special guest of the NBA Lokoja Branch yesterday at its end of year Dinner and launch of its Cooperative Society Fund.
The splendid event had in attendance major stakeholders in the four branches of the NBA in Kogi State, to wit: NBA Lokoja Branch; NBA Idah Branch; NBA Okene Branch and NBA Kabba Branch.
The special guests during the dinner and launch of the Branch’s Cooperative Society Fund included the Chief Judge of Kogi State, Honourable Justice J.J Majebi, and the Honourable Attorney General of the State, Hon. Muhis Abdullah, amongst others.
Chief Emeka Ozoani SAN in his characteristic, philanthrophic and humble gesture donated the sum of *N1 Million Naira* to the Branch’s Cooperative Society Fund whilst also donating the sum of *N2, 250,000.00* for enrolment of 150 members of Branch into the NBA Health Insurance Scheme.
The kind gesture was typical of the learned SAN’s commitment to the welfare of members of the branch in particular and the NBA in general.
Chief Emeka Ozoani, SAN who was the immediate past Chairman of the NBA Welfare Commitee at the National Secretariat, used that position to advance the welfare of members of the NBA across its 128 Branches to the admiration of all.
The Chairman and the members of the NBA Lokoja Branch respectively in response to the goodwill of Chief Emeka Ozoani SAN’s commitment to the Branch and the NBA at large unanimously adopted him as a Honorary member of the NBA Lokoja Branch.
The dinner was well attended by members of the Branch and sister Branches in Kogi State, Abuja, and its environs.
It is worthy of note that NBA Lokoja Branch is the second branch of the NBA to confer and/or adopt Chief Emeka Ozoani, SAN as an Honorary member following the footsteps of the NBA Asaba Branch.
