The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Surulere Branch on Monday, the 17th of February organized it’s first Law Week. The Law Week was held in honour of Mr. Olusegun Fabunmi SAN at Eko Club, Surulere, Lagos State.
The first session of the Law Week was chaired by Chief Emeka Ozoani, SAN whilst Prof. Joseph Abugu, SAN delivered the lecture tagged The Legal Profession in a Digital Era: Balancing Tradition and Transformation
Amongst other eminent personalities at the first session were the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN; 2nd Vice President of the NBA, Mrs. Bolatunmi Animashaun; Aare Olumuyiwa Akinboro, SAN; Dr. Wahab Shittu, SAN, Mr. Moyosore Onigbanjo, SAN (immediate past Attorney General of Lagos State); Mr. Supo Ati-John, SAN and many other members of the NBA Lagos Branch who came to felicitate with the NBA Surulere Branch on the occasion of its first ever Law Week having been created in 2024.
In appreciation of Chief Emeka Ozoani SAN for sponsorship of the Law Week and as Chair of its first session on Digitalisation of the Legal Practice he was presented with a plaque by Mrs. Roseline Akinbo.
Congratulations to Chief Emeka Ozoani SAN for his philanthropic gesture to the Branch and as Chair of the Branch first Law Week.
