It was a great delight and privilege for me to have participated in the just concluded NBA Abuja Branch Law Week, which took place from 27th to 31st of August, 2021. The series of lectures that took place in the course of the week especially on Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st of August were not only engaging and enriching but most impactful. The Theme of the Law Week- Insecurity, Rule of Law and Human Rights. Are we on the Right Path?, was indeed well thought out. The Keynote Speaker, Mr. Uchenna Emelonye (Country Representative, Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights, United Nations) was excellently wonderful in his presentation. Several other speakers enriched the participants with their mastery of the topics and erudite presentations. The well packaged Law Week was closed with a well attended very colourful dinner cum cultural night.I congratulate Dr. Hauwa Shekarau (Branch Chairman) and all the Branch Exco members and the Steve Emelieze led planning committee for the most successful and epoch making Law Week:
