The Association of Lagos Titled Chiefs, a non-political association of prominent members of the Lagos Community, who have served the state and the nation meritoriously, at its last regular meeting, unanimously elected Dr. Kesington Adebutu, Asoju Oba of Lagos, as the new President of the association.
A statement by the Secretary of the association, Olawumi Gasper, said that the decision was unanimously taken in appreciation of the numerous contributions and philanthropic instincts of Adebutu since inception, and formation of the association.
Not that alone, the association also supported the choice of Dr. Mrs Opral Mason as the Vice-President.
The statement further explained that the elevation and choice of the duo was sequel to the peaceful transition of their former most cherished immediate past president, Dr. Mrs Iyabode Muheenat Foresythe, Iya Abiye of Lagos that occurred in February 2024.

Meanwhile, the association did not forget the efforts of the founding fathers and past presidents of the association, especially for their commitment and efforts in using themselves as a vehicle for promoting the development of the Lagos economy through its involvement in transforming the Lagos public and private sectors.
In his remark, Adebutu, gave all the glory to the Almighty God for the privilege of being alive and available to serve at the leadership role of notable men and women of Lagos.
