The Technical Committee on Conference Planning (TCCP) welcomes all delegates to the 2022 Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA-AGC) taking place at the prestigious Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island Lagos State. We particularly welcome those who have come from outside Lagos and we wish the rest who are on their way, Godspeed on your travels.
We are happy to report that the NBA-AGC kicked off yesterday with the Jumaat Prayer which took place at the Lagos Central Mosque. We appreciate our members of the Muslim faith who attended the Prayer.
We are equally elated at the prompt and seamless accreditation process and collection of Conference Materials which lasted from 4pm to 10pm, yesterday.
Conference activities continue today Saturday 20th August 2022 with a Health Walk scheduled for 8am.
We shall also continue with the accreditation process and collection of Conference Materials. However, we are constrained to announce a change in the start time to 4pm today.
We are compelled to make this adjustment because, unfortunately, some of the site contractors have not completely removed their equipment from site. Upon observation during collection of materials yesterday, it was clear that it would be best to avoid any potential health and safety hazard that could occur.
We regret any inconvenience that this is sure to occasion, but we remain assured of your continued understanding.
