The Nigeria Chapter of the African Women Lawyers Association (AWLA) has named Chief (Mrs.) Abimbola Akinjide, SAN, as Chairperson of its 2022 Annual Parley, scheduled for Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs on Victoria Island, Lagos.
A Senior Partner at the firm of CRWC, Chief (Mrs.) Akinjide, SAN, was a member of the Executive Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) between 1998 and 2002.
The announcement is part of AWLA’s preparations for the Lagos Parley, which will hold on the sidelines of this year’s Annual General Conference of the NBA under the theme, ‘SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF WOMEN – CATALYST FOR GROWTH OF A NATION.’
