It is that time of the year when all Muslim Faithful celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir, a period of deep reflection on the goodness of Almighty Allah and a renewal of their submission to Allah’s will. Safiya Balarabe, a devout Muslim faithful has sent out a message to all her Muslim brothers and sisters around the world wishing them a happy celebration.

“Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullah, Taqabalallahu Minna wa Minkum, may we and our entire families be amongst the list of those whom Allah has forgiven on the occasion of this past Arafat, May Allah also acceptvour good deeds and overlook the bad ones. Ameen.
In Nigeria, today is Yawmu Sabti, 10th Dhul Hijjah 1443AH, equivalent to Saturday, 9th July, 2022. It gives me great pleasure to wish all of you my brothers and sisters Eid Mubarak.
Let us use this period to reflect on Allah’s unending blessings in our lives and as we do so, look for ways that we can extend a hand of fellowship to our neighbours for the betterment of our society.
