A sound mind, it has been said, can only exist in a sound body. In the run-up to the 2022 Annual Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association’s Section on Legal Practice (NBA-SLP) in Asaba, the Delta State capital, delegates underscored the importance the NBA attaches to the physical and mental wellbeing of its members by embarking on a Health Walk on Monday, July 4, 2022.
NEWSWIRE Law & Events Magazine correspondent at the Dome Event Centre venue of the Walk reports that the event featured, among others, Mr. YC Maikyau,SAN; Emeka Ozoani, SAN; Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN and Dr. Okocha, as well as some members of the SLP Executive & Conference Planning Committee led by Mr. Omubo Frank-Briggs, Chairman of the SLP Conference Planning Committee.
Our correspondent reports that, unlike other NBA Health Walks in the past, Monday’s affair was held within the spacious grounds of the Dome.
Respondents described the Walk as a fitting prelude to the intellectual heavy lifting due to commence later Monday, after the formal opening of the Asaba Conference.
