The meeting of today was another opportunity for the Egbe Amofin to further her concerted efforts at self rediscovery. The constitution of Alhaji Tajudeen Oladoja SAN led Electoral Committee is a great leap towards ensuring the Egbe Amofin is never left rudderless. I must therefore salute the Chairman of the Caretaker Committee, Prof. Oluwole Akintayo and the entire Caretaker Committee members for their sacrifices.
I am anxiously optimistic that our great Egbe shall in no distant time regain its pride of place by offering credible leadership and promoting good governance within the body of lawyers in Nigeria and our great country, Nigeria at large.
As our guests who trooped to Ibadan from various parts of the country and our valued members return back to their various destinations, I wish them all journey mercies and God’s guidance.
