It is my honor and privilege on behalf of the Welfare Committee of the NBA to express our gratitude to the President of the NBA, Mr. Olumide Akpata, on the successful negotiation and closing of the deal for subsidized electronic law report software by Law Pavilion.
I also thank the Managing Director of Law Pavilion Mr Okpe for his steadfastness, patience and understanding in the course of the negotiations.
Through this deal, the President has demonstrated yet again his commitment to the professional development and welfare of our members, especially our younger colleagues. As a Committee, we received the unflinching support of Mr. President at every stage of the negotiations, providing the fine details that now represent the deal.
I also congratulate the entire members of the NBA on this subsidy and urge that we take gainful advantage of same to improve our practice.
Finally, I thank the members of the Welfare Committee for their resourcefulness and efforts. I could not have asked for a more competent team to drive the agenda of the Committee as set by Mr. President. This is only the beginning for us as a Committee and we assure members of the NBA of the unveiling of many more laudable initiatives of this Administration in the coming days and weeks.
