The 2021 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(UTME) has been delayed by the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB).
The test, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, April 30th, has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 20th.
The change of date was due to continuing changes in internal procedures, according to Fabian Benjamin, Head of Public Affairs.
He clarified that the Mock Examination and other schedules will not be affected, including the UTME date, which has been set for June 5th to June 19th, 2021.
The spokesman told all stakeholders that the registration for the 2021 UTME/DE is still open and will close on May 15, 2021.
The commission, on the other hand, expressed concern that certain candidates were submitting their information to 55019 incorrectly in an attempt to produce their profiles.
“The correct procedure is to send the term “NIN” to 55019, followed by the eleven-digit NIN code, for example, NIN 00000000000.
“Any other method is incorrect and would not provide the candidate’s profile code.
The candidate should also be aware that only the SIM card associated with his or her NIN can be used to submit the NIN to 55019, according to the statement.
