The bodies of the students were discovered on Friday in Kwanan Bature village, close to the university, according to a statement signed by Mr Samuel Aruwan, Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs.

“The armed bandits who kidnapped Greenfield University students have shot dead three of the abducted students in an act of mindless evil and pure wickedness.”
“Armed bandits abducted an unspecified number of students from the institution in Kasarami village off the Kaduna-Abuja Road on Tuesday night.
“Governor Nasir El-Rufai has described the assassination of three students as a heinous act of wickedness, inhumanity, and outright desecration of human lives by vile individuals.
He went on to claim that armed bandits embody the worst of humanity and that they must be defeated at all costs because of their violent wickedness.
“Evil does not prevail over God-given humanity,” the Governor said.
He urged people to band together against the forces of darkness threatening national security and the Nigerian state’s very life.
“On behalf of the Government and Citizens of Kaduna State, the Governor expressed deep condolences and empathy to the families of the students and the university community, and prayed for their souls to rest in peace.”
