The death has occurred of Dame Roseline Chinwe Nwadioke, the mother of senior lawyer and President of CITY LAWYER Magazine, one of Nigeria’s foremost legal blogs. She was aged 95 years.
It was gathered that Dame Nwadioke, a devout Christian and longstanding woman leader, died at the Federal Medical Centre in Lagos.
She is survived by many children, grand-children and great-grandchildren among other relations.
A statement by Nwadioke, a former Council Member of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL) and former NBA Lagos Branch Publicity Secretary, reads: “It is with deep sorrow but gratitude to God that we share the news of the passing of our beloved mother and matriarch, Ezinne Roseline Chinwe Nwadioke.
“Our mother was the pillar of our family, a bright light in our lives. We will forever cherish her legacy of strength, love, and kindness. These virtues will continue to inspire us. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
