The ongoing NBA Lagos Branch football competition tagged “Premier Bar League” is heating up.
Results from the match venue show that 32 goals have been scored so far. Teams like Grey FC, Tiger Bar FC, Mercury FC and Wigwe & Partners have dominated the scene scoring goals all around.
Match Day 1 Results
In Group A, the opening match was between TASAFRICA FC and Unilawrin Alumni FC. TASAFRICA narrowly edged Unilawrin by a lone goal scored by Otiti Evince.
In the other matches, Islanders FC won YLF FC with a solitary goal scored by Seun Denegan.
Mercury FC crushed YLP FC with a fine display of football winning by 3 goals to nil.
In Group B, the attacking firepower of Grey FC was too much for Unilawrin United FC as Grey FC won with 3 goals to 1.
LawBallers FC and Wigwe & Partners FC played a highly entertaining game scoring 2 goals a piece.
Tiger Bar FC brought out their fangs as they devoured their opponent – Welfare FC – by 4 goals to 1.
Match Day 2 Results
TASAFRICA continued their winning streak by narrowly edging YLP by a lone strike. YLF FC came back from their Match day 1 loss by beating Unilawrin Alumni by 2 goals to 1.
The defending champions Grey FC showed again why they are the team to beat by coming from a goal down to beat WELFARE FC by 3-1.
Mercury FC won Islanders FC by a lone goal scored by Peter Jimoh.
Lawballers FC came back from their Match Day 1 upset to win 3-1 against Tiger Bar FC.
Wigwe and Partners FC continued their impressive start to the season by winning Unilawrin United by a lone goal.
Unsurprisingly, the defending Champions of the 1st edition – Grey FC – seats as group leader of Group B, while the runner-up of 1st edition – TASAFRICA – leads Group A. Both teams are yet to drop a point in the competition.
