The Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL) has extended the heavily discounted Early Bird window for its eagerly awaited 2025 Annual Conference which holds at Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital. The window now shuts on Sunday, 9th November, 2025.
The Annual Conference is scheduled to hold from December 1 to December 5, 2025, at the prestigious Ibom Hotels and Golf Resort in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital. To register, click here http://nbaspidel.ng/.
Meanwhile, the Section has released lists of hotels for the forthcoming conference.
In a statement jointly signed by Messrs Yakubu Bawa and Wale Ogunade, Chairman and Alternate Chairman respectively of the Media, Publicity and Publications Sub-committee, the section stated that the extension was as a result of the clamour by many lawyers and other stakeholders who wish to participate in the programme.
The leadership of NBA Omoku Branch has also announced 50% subsidy for some of its members who register for the Annual Conference.
A notice by the Branch Publicity Secretary Juday Ugweru stated that “Our indefatigable Chairman, Senior Eze Ahiakwo, Esq., has graciously approved a 50% subsidy on the registration fee for the first ten (10) members who may register under the Omoku Branch for the forthcoming NBA-SPIDEL Conference scheduled to hold in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.”
It added that “This thoughtful initiative is aimed at encouraging active participation of our members in national NBA programs, showcasing our branch and promoting personal and professional development of the members of our noble branch.
“All interested members are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity and register promptly to benefit from the subsidy. Further details on logistics, travel arrangements, and other conference updates will be communicated in due course.”
It is recalled that the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, had thrown his full weight behind hosting the conference, adding that “the State is developing world-class tourism and conference infrastructure to host major national and international events, including future NBA Annual Conferences in Uyo.”
