The Nigerian Law School has officially opened applications for admission into the Bar Part II Course for the 2025/2026 academic session, with the application window set to begin on Monday, 11 September 2025.
In a statement released on Tuesday and signed by the Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration, Ms. Aderonke Osho, the school stated that applications will close on Friday, 31 October 2025. The Bar Part II programme is scheduled to commence on Monday, 2 February 2026, simultaneously at the Nigerian Law School Headquarters in Abuja and at its campuses in Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Yenagoa, Yola, and Port Harcourt
The statement highlighted that only Nigerian graduates from accredited universities and foreign-trained law graduates who have completed and passed the Bar Course at the Nigerian Law School are eligible to apply. Ms. Osho directed intending applicants to visit the Nigerian Law School website at www.nigerianlawschool.edu.ng for detailed application instructions.
The school further instructed applicants to confirm that their data has been forwarded by the registrars of their universities before submitting applications and paying the non-refundable application
Completed application forms, including references, must be downloaded, filled, and returned to the Nigerian Law School through the applicant’s Dean of Law by the 31 October deadline.
For approved re-admission and cleared referred admission cases, applicants are required to attach their approval or clearance letters to the application form and submit the documents to the Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration at the school’s headquarters by the same date.
Ms. Osho emphasised that late submissions would not be entertained and advised applicants to retain their application numbers, which are necessary for checking admission status.
“The school will only accept applications from candidates whose information has been verified by their universities. Applicants should ensure compliance to avoid disqualification,” the statement read
