I have known Oge for over 5 years in service to the NBA Lagos Branch. Our paths crossed while working for and serving the bar. I served alongside Ogechi twice as members of the NBA Lagos Branch Law Week Committee and twice as members of the NBA Lagos Dinner Committee.
Of particular reference was when Oge served as the team lead for Logistics and Entertaainment Sub-Committee of the NBA Lagos Branch Law Week Committee 2022. In her role, she prepared the budget for the activities of the sub-committee, ensured frugal expenses, and most importantly, saw to the implementation of the budget.
Oge is a master planner and has eyes for details, ensuring that things go accorddjng to plan. It is no surprise that she has offered to serve the NBA Lagos Branch as Treasurer. Her experience in planning, budgeting, and implementation will be very useful for the branch.
Also, Ogechi has been highly supportive of my Committee and sporting activities of the Branch. At the just concluded NBA Lagos Premier Bar League, Ogechi was a proud sponsor of the tournament and offerjng guidance on the planning of the tournament.
I have no reservation whatsoever in recommending Ogechi Olisa-Mokelu to members of the branch to support and vote for her as the next Treasurer of the Branch.
