Scott Miller, a Washington man, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison followed by five years of supervised release for possessing illicit drugs in Montana.
According to court documents, last September law enforcement discovered that Miller was traveling from Washington to Montana with the intention of selling drugs. A K-9 officer found a large amount of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and heroin in a trash bag belonging to Miller.
In January, Miller pleaded guilty to one count of possession with the intent to distribute these drugs.
The sentencing marks the conclusion of the case, highlighting ongoing efforts to address drug-related crimes in the area.
